We went at the quiet time with an autistic child he was totally overwhelmed at first but soon settled and enjoyed every minute , especially the lift lol , the staff were very helpful the only problem I could say was it says no food in areas yet there was vending machine in the area's ? But had to explain to a child ...

W5 was far better all those years before the renovation as now it’s become far too filled with technology and lost many activities regarding interaction and physical play :( Overall though, this place was the most memorable part of my childhood and loved the role playing shops the best!

Great place for children of all ages providing hours of entertainment. I recommend booking tickets in advance to avoid any que waits. I rated one less star due to the pricing.

Science made easy for kids. Lots of interactive area to help kids understand science in a fun way. Also has play area for kids of all ages. good family day out.

W5 in Belfast is absolutely fantastic—one of the best interactive science and discovery centres I’ve visited! It’s packed with engaging exhibits, hands-on experiments, and immersive experiences that make learning fun for all ages. Whether you’re fascinated by space, engineering, physics, or just love to explore and experiment, there’s something for everyone here.
The variety of activities is outstanding, from creative problem-solving challenges to high-tech simulations, robotics, and even an indoor climbing structure for kids to burn off some energy. The live demonstrations and science show added an extra layer of interest, making complex topics accessible and entertaining.
What really stood out was how well-maintained and modern everything is. It’s clear that W5 is constantly evolving to stay fresh and exciting. A recommended attraction

Amazing price and great for toddlers , kids, and kids at heart. Loads of parking across the road. Will definitely go back.
